The winning streak for the Warsaw baseball team is over.
Warsaw was shutout at home by Mishawaka 2-0 Wednesday.
Colten Handley held the Tigers to 5 hits and a total of 9 base runners in his complete-game effort.
Warsaw' Zac Miller was pretty good himself, giving up just two hits and no earned runs in pitching all 7 innings.
Mishawaka scored both of their runs in the fourth. Miller walked the lead-off man on four pitches, and a wild pitch moved him to 2nd base. Then a pair of errors by the Tiger infield plated the game's only runs.
Warsaw is 20-6 after having their 14-game win streak snapped, and they finish the NLC as outright champs with a 12-2 record.
Warsaw finishes up the regular season Thursday at home against Mishawaka Marian at 5:30 and Friday with a make-up game with Huntington North at Tiger FIeld at 5:30.
