Rough First Inning Dooms Baseball on Opening Night

St. Joe scored 6 times in the top of the first on their way to a 9-7 win at Tiger Field Tuesday. 

Kellen Bailey got the start for Warsaw, and he gave up 7 runs on 6 hits while walking four batters in 3 innings. Reed Nelson pitched the final four innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 5 Huskies. 

Wyatt Stapleton, Hunter Dippon, Bailey and Quinton Brock all had 2 hits for the Tigers. Brock drove in 3 runs for Warsaw and Cohen Heady 2.
