The Tiger baseball team pushed their record to 2-1 with a 5-2 win over Edgewood High School at Championship Park in Kokomo Friday afternoon,
Warsaw jumped out to a quick lead with single runs in the first two innings, then tacked on the other three in the third.Â
Brandt Martin drove in two of those runs in the third. Khareus Miller reached three times from the lead-off spot and scored twice.Â
Reed Nelson got the start and was the winning pitcher, going five innings and allowing an earned run on just two hits while fanning four. Oliver Nisen allowed a run in the sixth and Kellan Bailey struck out two to get the save in a 1-2-3 seventh inning to get the save.Â
