Baseball Stays Hot, Wins at Mishawaka

If Warsaw goes on to do big things in the NLC and postseason, we might well remember this stretch of games the Tigers are in right now.

Warsaw won their fifth game in a row Monday, taking 6-0 win at Mishawaka.

After losing at NorthWood last Monday, the Tigers have posted impressive road wins at Northridge, Concord and now Mishawaka.

The Tiger offense kept Cavemen pitchers in troubles most of the game, scoring their 6 runs in four different innings.

Hunter Dippon went 3-3 at the plate and drove in 3. Grady Nelson was on base 4 times with 2 hits and 2 walks, and scored half the Tigers's runs.

Meanwhile Brandt Martin cruised through another strong start, giving up only just 3 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings. Reed Nelson pitched the 7th and struck out 2.
