Tiger Baseball Wins Second Straight Huge Road Game, Wins at Concord

JV Falls to Minutemen

The Tiger baseball team backed up their big win at Northridge Wednesday with a bigger win at Concord Friday, taking down the Minutemen in the rain 5-0.

Warsaw broke through with single runs in the 1st and 2nd innings, then added 2 more in the 4th and another in the 6th.

Grady Nelson was 3-3 at the plate with 3 runs batted in and Logan O'Malley scored twice. The Tiger offense was aided by five walks and four hit batters.

Those five runs were plenty for pitchers Zac Miller and Reed Nelson.

Miller started the game and allowed just 1 hit and 2 walks in five innings to get the win, while Reed Nelson also allowed 1 hit and struck out 3 over the final two innings.

The junior varsity team lost 6-2.
