4th Quarter Rally Lifts TIgers Over Valley

The Tigers used a massive 4th quarter to win their final home game of the season 62-55 over Tippecanoe Valley on Senior NIght in the Tiger Den. 

The Vikings jumped out to the lead early and led by as many as 10 in the middle two quarters. 

Trailing 40-36 at the end of the third quarter, the Tigers turned up the heat defensively. That led to steals and scores by Carson Gould and Sam Lara. that started the comeback. 

Warsaw forced 15 Viking turnovers for the game and turned that into 19 points. 

Three Tigers finished in double-figures--all seniors on Senior NIght. Robbie FInlinson scored 17, Brandt Martin 15 and Carson Gould a career-high 13 in his final home game. 

The Tigers finish the regular season with 22 wins and 4 losses. The 22 regular wins is the second most in school history behind the 1941-42 Tigers' 23 wins. 

The junior varsity team beat Valley 53-41 to finish their season 13-8. 

Warsaw plays Concord in the opening game of the Elkhart Sectional Tuesday night at 7pm.
