For five innings Thursday, the Tiger baseball team couldn't muster any offense.
But they pushed across 2 in the 6th and 5 in the 7th to beat the Carroll Chargers 7-6 at Tiger Field.
The winning run scored with two out in the 7th when Hunter Dippon skied a fly ball into right field, but the right fielder lost the ball in the early-evening sky. No one else was close enough to help, and the ball dropped into the thick outfield grass as the winning run crossed the plate.
Both teams are 8-5.
