Columbia City scored seven times in the first two innings and held on to win late 10-9 over the Tiger baseball team Friday.
The Eagles scored 5 in the 1st inning and 2 more in the following frame to lead 7-2, but the Tigers battled back to draw even in the 5th.
Columbia CIty out-hit the Tigers 11-9. Warsaw was led by Kellan Bailey, Logan O'Malley and Cohen Heady each had two hits.
Reed Nelson took the tough loss for Warsaw allowing 8 runs in 1.2 innings, but only one of those runs was earned because of Tiger errors. Zac Miller went 4.2 innings of relief.
