On a windy night at the Tiger Soccer Complex, the Lady Tiger soccer squad stood strong.
Warsaw defeated Carroll 2-0 to run their record to 8-5-1 on the season.
After a scoreless first half, Warsaw scored twice early in the second half on goals by Evie and Lola Pepper--both going against a 20 mph win out of the north--to lead 2-0.
Carroll turned up the heat in the last 15 minutes and scored their only goal, drawing them to within one.
They kept the pressure on, and had some very good scoring opportunities, but the Lady Tiger back line was able to repel them and preserve the win.
Next up for the Tigers are Northridge on Thursday in a battle between the two undefeated teams in the NLC.
