Warsaw's boys golf team won the team sectional championship Friday at Rozella Ford, and there was a surprise atop the individual leaderboard.

The Tigers shot 313 as a team to beat Northfield's 318 and Culver Academy's 319. All three teams advance to the regional as teams.

The low score for the Tigers was carded by sophomore Robbie Finlinson, who was playing for the varsity for the first time this season. Finlinson posted a 77, which was the second lowest score of any individual in the tournament. 

The Tigers advance to the regional across town at Stonehenge Thursday at 8am.
