Warsaw improved to 3-0 for the first time in 21 years with an impressive 70-0 win over rival Plymouth Friday.
Warsaw scored on every offensive drive in the first half, and the defense added two scores of their own to help the Tigers to a 35-point 2nd quarter and a 56-0 halftime lead.
The 70-point output was the third-most in Warsaw football history.
Isaac Beam picked a fumbled ball out of mid-air and returned it 16 yards for a score, and exactly 3:00 later Theo Katris intercepted a pass and weaved his way into the north end zone for a 46-yard touchdown.
Warsaw's defense has now scored more touchdowns (3) than it has allowed (2).
Offensively, Warsaw racked up 415 yards of total offense. Grady Nolin was 3-3 passing for 58 yards and a touchdown, and led the Tigers in rushing with 13 carries for 99 yards and a 40 yard TD on the opening drive of the night.
So. PK Mason Smythe made all 10 extra points.
Warsaw makes its first road trip of the season Friday to Concord. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
