The Warsaw Tigers Football Team (2024) was recognized as one of six "State Champs" (5A) for the state of Indiana for their work in the classroom and the community.

The National Football Foundation honored the Tigers with the Academic Excellence Award. This award is based on overall team Grade Point Average, community service, performance on the field, academic & service awards earned by players

Warsaw Football received this award Friday evening at the Indiana Football Coaches Association State Clinic with a very nice plaque and a $500 check from the IFCA to the football program.

Warsaw Community High School was the only public school to receive this award.
