The Warsaw Boys Soccer team lost at Goshen 2-1 on a goal with 4:50 left to play.
With the loss, the Tigers were denied an opportunity to win back-to-back NLC championships.Â
The Tigers tied the game with 10:35 left. Junior Julian Saldivar took a free kick from near the corner flag and placed it perfectly on the foot of classmate Noah VanPullelen, who tucked it behind the Goshen keeper to level to score 1-1. Â
But the RedHawks goal five minutes later won them the game and the NLC for the first time since 2017.Â
