Boys Soccer Heading Back to the Regional

Win sectional over Homestead

The Tiger boys soccer team won their third straight sectional championship and 16th all-time with a 4-0 win over Homestead at Huntington North Saturday night. 

Mydin Burgher opened the scoring on an assist from Andres Rosas.

Miguel Cacahua made it 2-0 in the first half with the assist to Burgher.

Tanner Reynolds scored the first goal of the second half for the Tigers on an assist from Ashton Ault

Then Rosas set up Camden Lennox for the fourth and final goal of the night. 

Warsaw will play Thursday night in the regional semifinal on the road at Carroll (FW), who beat Northrop at the Northrop sectional 5-1. Warsaw played the Chargers to a 1-1 draw in the opening match of the season at Carroll August 10.
