There were a lot of questions for the Warsaw football team heading into their season opening-game at Fisher Field against Michigan City Friday.
They answered most of them...emphatically.
The Tigers scored on their first four possessions on their way to a 35-7 win over the Wolves.
German Flores-Ortega rushed 16 times for 184 yards and three touchdowns. Tucker Curtis ran for 104 yards on only 5 carries and a score, but left in the 2nd quarter with an apparent leg injury.
The defense pitched a shutout until the Michigan City starters scored against the Tigers JV defense with a little over 4:00 left.
Warsaw is 1-0 and hosts Chesterton Friday at 7:30pm.
