Warsaw Tigers Varsity Claims Blow-Out Victory Over NorthWood, 16-5

Warsaw Tigers Varsity sailed to an easy victory over NorthWood 16-5 on Monday
Warsaw Tigers Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning. Josh Shapiro hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.
Sam Justice pitched Warsaw Tigers Varsity to victory. Justice surrendered five runs on five hits over five innings, striking out eight. Kellan Bailey threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Gage Gongwer took the loss for NorthWood. Gongwer went two innings, allowing 12 runs on ten hits, striking out three and walking one.
Warsaw Tigers Varsity racked up 14 hits on the day. Lukas Maier, Jette Woodward, Addison Coy, Josh Reihl, Austin Polk, Hunter Dippon, and Shapiro each collected multiple hits for Warsaw Tigers Varsity. Shapiro, Dippon, Polk, Reihl, Coy, Woodward, and Maier each managed two hits to lead Warsaw Tigers Varsity. Warsaw Tigers Varsity stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Shapiro led the way with three.
