Warsaw turned a two-point deficit after one quarter in the Tiger Den Friday night into an 18-point lead after three quarters in a 61-49 win over NorthWood.
With the win, the Tigers are in the lead in the Northern Lakes Conference.
In front of the biggest crowd of the season, Warsaw outscored NorthWood 32-12 combined in the second and third quarters to put the game in the win column.
And the sources of the scoring were not the usual suspect for the Tigers.
Mydin Burgher, who averages 6 points per game, tied his career high with 15 points--11 in the first half. Sam Lara came off the bench for the TIgers and scored 12 in the first half and finished with 13 for a season high.
The JV also won by a score of 42-34, with Drew Jones leading the way again with 19 points and 9 rebounds. The JV is 6-7.
