The boys basketball team bounced back from an opening-round loss to finish 9th in the 16 team Bob Wettig Basketball Tournament in Richmond. 

Warsaw lost to Luers 67-53 at Richmond High School Thursday morning, but then topped Purdue Poly Englewood in the first consolation round 54-46 at Earlham College. Friday morning they beat Indianapolis Washington 76-30 at Earlham and then finished the tournament with a 87-59 victory over North Decatur. 

Brandt Martin led the Tigers with 68 total points in the four games of the two-day event. Luke Bricker finished with 47 while only playing in three games and Mydin Burgher scored 28 points in four games. 

Warsaw will host Northridge in a huge NLC showdown in the Tiger Den January 10.
