Tiger Boys Win at Goshen

The boys basketball team jumped out to a big first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 62-42 win at Goshen Friday night. 

The Tigers were 8-12 from the field and 3-4 from beyond the arch in the opening period to lead 21-9. 

Warsaw is now 3-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference and tied with NorthWood for the league lead. 

Luke Bricker scored 17 points to lead the way, while Parker Justice added a career-high 12 points off the bench and Robbie FInlinson scored 10. 

For the game, Warsaw (12-3) shot 51-percent from the field and 9-15 from 3-point range on the road to win their sixth straight win. 

The junior varsity (4-6) lost 45-36. Drew Jones scored 13 and Gabe Ioane added a season-high 12 in the loss. 

They will host Concord Friday in the Tiger Den in Round 4 of NLC play.
