Brooke Zartman's 3-pointer late in the opening period gave her 15 points and put her at 1,000 points for her career in a 71-11 win at Mishawaka Wednesday night.
Zartman finished the game with 22 points, landing at 1,007 points in less than three full years of high school basketball. She is the seventh Lady Tiger to reach a thousand points, and now is #6 on the all-time scoring list.
Warsaw jumped out to a fast start once again, outscoring the host Cavemen on their home floor 23-0 in the first quarter. It was the 22nd time Warsaw had not allowed an opponent to score in a quarter in the 50 seasons of girls basketball.
The Lady Tigers shot 51-percent from the field, 21-29 from 2-point range.
Warsaw (17-0) is now 5-0 in the conference and clinch a share of a fourth straight NLC title with a win at home over Goshen Saturday. JV tip time is 6:15.
The junior varsity (16-1) beat Mishawaka 47-10. Madison Branham led the way with 20 points.
