Distance runner Tyler Mimnaugh signed his National Letter of Intent Thursday to run at Wright State University starting next fall. 

Mimnaugh says he will study biology with the goal of transitioning to pre-dentistry. 

He says there were a lot of reasons he chose WSU beyond the running and field of study.

"It's a good-sized school," he told the assembled friends, teammates and family members. :It's not too far away, it's not too close, I loved the campus and I loved the team environment." 

He was asked his he had words of wisdom for his teammates, and it was very straight-to-the point. "Have fun...I will miss you."
