The TIger Football team left little doubt that the "W Trophy" was getting back on the bus and coming back to the Lake City Friday night.
Warsaw scored 28 points in the first quarter and backed that up with 28 more before halftime in a 56-6 win over Wawasee in Syracuse.
Warsaw started the opening drive of the game with a 60-yard pitch play to Quinton Brock, and he ran around the right side and all the way to the end zone on the Tigers' first play from scrimmage.
It was the first of 3 TDs for Brock, who got the third while working as quarterback. Tucker Reed also scored 3 times in the first half.
The Warsaw defense held the Warriors to -3 yards rushing and 2 total yards in the first half.
Warsaw travels to Concord Friday. The Tigers and Minutemen are the only remaining unbeaten teams in the NLC through two games. Kickoff is at 7pm.
