The boys basketball team pulled away late to post a 62-53 win over Columbia City on opening night of their season in the Tiger Den Tuesday night. 

With the game tied at 30 and halftime, Warsaw used a strong 3rd quarter to lead 45-38 after 3 quarters. Brandt Martin scored 6 of his team-high 15 points in the 3rd. Sam Lara came off the Tiger bench to score 11 points in his first varsity game. Carson Gould added 11.

The JV Tigers lost 39-35 in their opener. Drew Jones led the effort with 12 points and 7 rebounds. 

The freshman also lost to Columbia City Tuesday 33-27. Rogan Bailey led Warsaw with 11 points.
