Warsaw Holds Off Valpo in Overtime Thriller

Warsaw upped their record to 5-0 with a 73-71 win in extra time over Valparaiso Tuesday night in the Tiger Den.

The Lady Tigers found themselves in a 19-3 hold six minutes into the game, but used a 16-0 run to draw even at 19 early in the second.

Warsaw trailed at halftime 31-25.

Then Joslyn Bricker took over.

And in the 4th Warsaw had the ball with a 5 point lead and couldn't hold it, seeing Valpo turn up the defensive heat and score off five Lady Tiger turnovers in the 4th quarter to send the game to over time.

Warsaw won the game by winning the OT 8-6 for their 5th win in as many outings.

Brooke Zartman scored all 17 of her points after half time, and Brooke Winchester and Alexis Neely scored 11 each.
