The Lady Tiger basketball squad played its final home game of the season, and it was a nearly perfect dress rehearsal for next week's sectional.
Warsaw posted a 23-point first quarter and was never challenged in a 67-38 win over Angola Thursday.
Warsaw finished the regular season 14-7, winners of their sixth game in a row.
Joslyn Bricker and Brooke Zartman combined to score 17 of Warsaw's first 20. Zartman finished with 22 points--her fifth game of 20 points or more in the last nine. Her six 3-pointers put her at 81 for the season. She's now four away tying Lindsay Baker (Erba) for third on the career 3-pt list. Bricker also finished with 22--her 21st double-figure game in 21 chances this season, her 27 straight and 32nd in the last 33 games going back to last season.
Brooke Winchester chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Alexis Neely dished out 5 assists.
The junior varsity team won over Angola 50-25. Jocelyn Luecke led the Lady Tigers with 16 points, while Sammi Rastrelli scored 10 and Cayleigh Goheen contributed 9 points and 14 rebounds. They finish the season 14-5.
The varsity will play in the first round of the sectional at Northridge Tuesday against the Lady Raiders at 6pm in the opening round of the tournament.
