The Warsaw Tigers wrestled their final dual meet of the season at Triton High School on Wednesday and came home with a 60-18 victory.
The Tigers won 3 of 4 JV contests to start the night. Leo Castro and Chris Figueroa picked up wins by decision at 144 and 150 pounds, and Ethan Cook earned a pinfall victory at 215.
The Trojans jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead in the varsity contest with wins at 138 and 144 pounds.
Danny Moon and Aaron Ross got the Tigers on the board with first period pins at 150 and 157. AJ Smith added six points via forfeit at 165 to give Warsaw an 18-9 advantage.
Wins by Triton at 175 and 190 would tie the dual at 18-18, but the Tigers took the remaining matches for the evening.
Kam Kauffman and Beckham Boylan brought home pinfall victories at 215 and 285, while Donovan Frazier and Bryce McNees collected forfeits at 106 and 113 pounds.
The trio of Owen Barker, KC Smith, and Gabe Veit wrapped up the night with first period pins of their own at 120, 126, and 132 pounds to cap off the scoring.
The Tigers finish the season with a record of 11-10.
The varsity will compete in the NLC tournament on Saturday, while the JV will head to Plymouth to close their season.
