Tiger freshman football team opened their season at home with a 36-14 victory over the Northridge Raiders.
The Tigers had multiple contributors in the scoring column starting with Grady Nelson punching it in from 2 yards out. That was followed up by a Micheal Schenck 3 yard touchdown run with Nelson scoring the 2pt conversion. Matthew Flores-Ortega had touch down runs of 6 and 2 yards respectively.The Tigers finished the night with a Camden Bause 44 yard touchdown run in which he also converted the 2pt attempt.
On the defensive side the Tigers were lead by Nelson, Bause, Parker Sweet and Jonah Johnson. Grady Nelson caused a Raider fumble that was recovered by Quinton Wilson.
