Sims, Chesterton Too Much for Tigers

There was no miracle comeback for the Warsaw Tigers Saturday afternoon.

After erasing a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter against Mishawaka Thursday in the Tiger Den, Chesterton foiled the Tigers attempt for a repeat, beating the Tigers 71-56 to run their win streak to nine games.

Just like Thursday, the Tigers found themselves down by more than 10 in the second half, but Trojan Justin Sims was not interested in allowing the Tigers to pull off the same feet twice in less than 48-hours.

Sims poured in 29 points on 11-14 FG shooting to go along with 6 rebounds and numerous blocked and altered shots.

Warsaw (11-8) was led by Jaxson Gould's 22 points. Drew Heckaman added 11.

The Tiger JV won their 6th straight by beating Chesterton 44-26. Elijah Wright scored 10, and the Trojans claimed the frosh game 30-13.
