What promises to be a memorable Lady Tiger Basketball season started with a pair of blowout wins Wednesday in the Tiger Den. 

The varsity jumped out to a 25-5 lead on Fort Wayne North Side and cruised to a 68-28 win on opening night. 

Brooke Zartman scored 18 of her 20 points in the first half to lead the Lady Tigers, who also had double-figure scoring games from Brooke Winchester (14), Alexis Neely (11) and Joslyn Bricker (10).

Warsaw's swarming defense forced 30 Legends turnovers while only allowing 30 field goal attemps. 

The junior varsity started their season with a 45-1 win over Marion. 

Freshman Lucy Andrew led the Lady Tigers with 9 points and 8 steals. 

All three teams will be in action Saturday at home against Norwell, with the freshman and JV games starting at 6pm.
