The Lady Tiger Wrestling team had another strong performance on Saturday at the Rochester Invitational. Warsaw's seven competitors racked up enough wins to place 9th in the team standings.
Kynna Yoder was the top placer for the Tigers. Yoder notched 3 wins by pin to win her side of the bracket before falling in the crossover championship.
Mariana Castro finished the day with 4 pinfall victories. Castro took 2nd in her bracket before winning the last match of the day for true third.
Natalie Davis picked up two wins by pin to earn third in her bracket.
Kaiah Long's 3 wins earned her a 5th place finish.
Emily Dawson picked up two wins to earn 6th place.
First-year wrestlers, Tahlia Feller and Kristina Kolembe were both able to pick up their first career wins during the tournament.
