Goshen's Deecon Hill hit a contested, double-pumped, banked-in 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Goshen a 51-48 win over the Tigers at Interra Gym.
Hill's game-winner was a significant hit to the Tigers' chances of winning the NLC title and gave the Redhawks their first NLC win of the season. He finished with 20 points--more than twice his average.
Warsaw was led by the 22-points of Jaxson Gould and 10 points of Drew Heckaman.
The Tigers battled out of a 10-point hole in the second half to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but Hill's heroics ruined the come-from-behind effort.
Warsaw (6-6, 2-1) will host Peru this afternoon at the Tiger Den. the JV will tip off at 3pm and is part of a double-header day of basketball. The girls team will host Goshen at 6pm for a share of the NLC title.
