"This was a good start to this young season," said Coach Fleming. "We had some really strong plays at the net and from a defensive position, but we'll be back working on more of the fundamentals again on Monday. This historic victory lays the foundation for the future of men's volleyball at Warsaw High School, providing an exciting glimpse of what is to come for the program."

The Warsaw Tigers JV men's volleyball team made history in their inaugural match, securing a straight-set victory over Irvington Preparatory Academy (25-19, 26-24). This milestone win was a total team effort, with strong contributions across the board.

Setter Maclain Tucker led the offense with 10 assists, while Ryan Carns added 6 assists of his own. Cale Meridew was a force at the service line with 3 aces while also adding 2 digs, while Owen Baker provided solid defensive play with 2 digs.

Coach Fleming praised the team's performance, stating, "I was truly impressed by the team's play today. These young men have not had much time to develop their skills, but they were up to the task. I'm very proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time."

The Tigers will look to continue their momentum as they host Fort Wayne Carroll on Tuesday at 6 PM in the Tiger Den.
