Wrestling Falls to #10 Mishawaka

The Tiger Wrestling team hosted Mishawaka in their final NLC dual of the season on Thursday night.

The #10 ranked Cavemen brought a squad with a lot of firepower to the Tiger Den and went home with a 64-16 victory.

Warsaw's team battled tough and fought deep into some matches, but ultimately picked up wins at just three weight classes for the evening.

Enrique Silva got the first win of the night for the Tigers at 150 pounds. Kameron Kauffman was next for Warsaw with a pin at 285 pounds.KC Smith was a winner by major decision at 132 pounds.

The evening also saw a full slate of JV competition.

Nicholas Rautenberg was a winner by pin at 150 pounds for the jv and Carter Coffin picked up a win by major decision at 157 pounds.

The Tigers record drops to 13-6 overall and 4-3 in the NLC.

They will be back in action next week at the Al Smith Invitational.
