Showdown in the Bird Cage Goes to the Lady Tigers

#3 Warsaw improved their record to 12-0 with a 65-50 win at #12 Columbia City Tuesday night.

Joslyn Bricker led the Lady Tigers in scoring, bouncing back from her 8-point outing Saturday to score 26 points on 10 of 17 shooting from the floor. Brooke Zartman finished with 15, Alexis Neely added 10 and Brooke Winchester finished with 10 points and 18 rebounds.

Warsaw led after one quarter 18-17, then went on a 15-0 run that last most of the 2nd quarter to push their lead to double digits. A late basket by the Lady Eagles and a steal and score in the final 30 seconds of the second were the only points Columbia City would score in the period, and the Lady Tigers ran into the locker room with a 35-21 lead.

Warsaw was able to maintain their lead for most of the season half and post their first win in the new CC gym.

The Warsaw JV also won 51-39 behind 17 points from Madison Branam and 11 points from Lucy Andrew. They are 11-1.

The C-team won across the hall in the auxiliary gym 33-23 to make a clean sweep for the Lady Tigers.
