Warsaw started the morning fast with a big conference win against Northwood. With pins in the first 3 matches and 6 total pins in the dual, the Tigers notched a 45-35 victory.
Round two matches Warsaw with Homestead's varsity 2 squad. After a couple a tough matches, the Tigers went on a run of 7 straight pins and won 3 other matches by tech fall to secure a 57-20 win.
The Tigers picked up their first loss of the day against a tough Northridge team. Warsaw battled in some tight matches, but dropped the dual by a 21-53 score.
Facing Regional opponent LaVille in the fourth round, Warsaw got back on track with a 68-6 win. The only loss for the Tiger in the round was via forfeit.
Warsaw entered the final round with three forfeits in the lineup as attrition took its toll. The shorthanded Tigers still fought tough against a high-powered Snider team, losing 33-44.
Warsaw had several strong performances individually and freshman 165 pounder, Zander Moore went 5-0. Moore picked up four wins by pin and one by tech fall.
Gabe Veit (126), Enrique Silva (150), and Kameron Kauffman (285) went 4-1.
The Tigers record is now 12-5 and 4-2 in the NLC. Warsaw will be in action again on Wednesday at sectional opponent, Rochester.
