Neely's Career Best Game Puts Warsaw in NLC Driver's Seat

Sophomore Alexis Neely was moved to the point guard position for the Lady Tigers' big against Northridge Saturday. 

It seemed to work out just fine. 

Neely scored a career-high 21 points and dished out 5 assists in a 65-52 win to boost Warsaw to first place in the Northern Lakes Conference and into the inside track for a third straight conference title. 

Neely led four Lady Tigers in double figures. Brooke Zartman scored 11, Joslyn Bricker added 15 and Brooke Winchester scored 15 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. 

Warsaw shot 55% from the field and 11-20 from 3pt ranger. 

The Lady Tigers (9-7) snapped their losing streak at 3 games and hosts Mishawaka Wednesday at the Tiger Den.

The junior varsity Lady Tigers came up just short in a 48-47 loss to the Lady Raiders. Jocelyn Luecke scored 11 to lead Warsaw.
