In a gym notorious for being unfriendly to visiting shooters, Warsaw's girls basketball team had no problem finding the hoops at either end of the court Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers set a school record with 13 3-point FGs in a 71-29 rout of Mishawaka at The Cave.
Brooke Zartman went 5-5 from beyond the arch for 15 points. Six different Lady Tigers made shots from distance.
the 13 made 3s also put Warsaw over the team record for a season. The only record was 128 in the 2019-20 season. This year's team has made 140 with five regular season games and at least one tournament game still to play.

At 5-0 in the conference (14--4 overall), a win Saturday against Goshen in the Tiger Den would secure at least a share of the 2023 NLC title, but that's not enough for Head Coach Lenny Krebs.
"I am not interested in sharing this title with anyone." Krebs said after the game. "We need to win these last two games (vs Goshen Sat., at Concord 1/21) and finish the job."
Saturday's game is also Senior Night. The seniors will be honored immediately after the junior varsity game.
