The Lady Tigers found themselves in a big hole in the first quarter Saturday night in their NLC matchup with Wawasee.
They used the next two quarters to pull themselves out of it.
Down 18-3 late in the first quarter and 18-5 at the end of it, Warsaw battled back to within one at halftime and then pulled away to a 56-41 win in the Tiger Den.
The Lady Tigers outscored Wawasee 35-9 in the middle two quarters to turnaround the early deficit.
Warsaw was led by Freshman Joslyn Bricker's 17 points on 7-11 FG shooting. Senior Zoe Bergan scored a career-high 12 points, while Ava Egolf grabbed a team-high 8 rebounds to go along with her 3 points.
Wawasee was led by Molly Beer's 14 points and 8 rebounds and Lucy Wilkinson's 9 points.
The Lady Tigers improved to 10-3 and 3-0 in the conference, while Wawasee fell to 7-6 and 2-2 in league play.
